Our first 'SBM' protest on Thursday, 23rd October 2008 was featured on the BBC Points West show at 6.30pm the same day. We organised this protest in just 3 days and there was a fantastic turnout (around 100 people according to the Bath Chron). Thanks to everyone that managed to make it and also to those that sent kind emails and words of support. Click here to view the news coverage.
The second 'SBM' protest took place outside the Guildhall on Saturday, 8th November 2008. Again, a great turnout. The event was covered by BBC Points West, ITV News, Bath Chronicle & Western Daily Press.

Our campaign made headline news. 'Breakfast with Richard Wyatt' featured a recorded interview with two of our campaigners, followed by live interviews with Don Foster MP and Cllr Charles Gerrish. During 'Drive Time with Ben Prater', Mark Stephens (one of our spokepeople) gave a live interview and account of the day's protest.
